Commission a Piece of Jewellery
Bespoke jewellery, handmade on the Causeway Coast.
At Atlantic Rose, I design and make meaningful jewellery in silver and gold, shaped by story and inspired by place. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, remembering someone special or simply want something one-of-a-kind, I’d love to help bring your idea to life.

How the Commission Process Works
I make bespoke wedding and engagement rings and other jewellery in silver and gold. I also enjoy working with gemstones or metal from jewellery that has sentimental meaning.
To enquire, email emma@atlanticrose.co.uk with your ideas, preferred metal, stones and style, approximate budget and desired completion date. You do not need to know all the details before getting in touch.
If you would like to incorporate existing jewellery, please send photographs first. Where possible, we can arrange an appointment at Hare & Hawthorn, 19 Bridge Street, Coleraine, BT52 1DR, so I can examine it and assess its suitability. Please arrange your appointment with me before bringing jewellery in.
Pricing & Payment
Each piece is priced individually according to the metal, stones, dimensions, design and making requirements.
The design stage
The design fee is £75, paid before design work begins. This covers three designs. You can choose your favourite and request one tweak to that design. The design fee is non-refundable if you choose not to proceed.
Making and payment
If you go ahead, the £75 design fee is deducted from the agreed overall price. A deposit of 50% of the remaining amount is then paid before I order materials or begin making. The deposit is non-refundable. The other 50% of that remaining amount is due on or before collection.
Once materials have been ordered and work has begun, the design cannot be altered. Any sizing adjustment needed will be discussed individually.
Your quote will include materials, design time, making and hallmarking where required.
Timeframe
Enquiries are welcome now for new commissions planned to start in 2027. I am currently working on existing commissions, so an enquiry does not reserve an immediate making slot. We will agree your start and completion dates individually.
Most rings take around 4–6 weeks from the agreed production start, depending on the design. This includes purchasing materials, making and hallmarking. Please allow extra time for your order to arrive after dispatch.
Past Commissions & Stories
.
One of my favourite commissions came from a customer who brought me a pair of large black diamond studs. She wanted to turn them into two pendants, one for herself and one for her sister, who lives in South Africa.
I designed the pendants so they could interlock and be worn as one. Each was shaped like an ‘S’; a subtle nod to the word sister, and to the River Clyde in Glasgow, where they were both from. The diamonds were set at opposite ends of the pendants: one representing the northern hemisphere, and the other the southern.
I’ll be adding more examples and customer stories soon. If you’d like to see other past commissions, just ask.
